First Aid Training
Arley Medical Services offers a comprehensive range of statutorily compliant First Aid as well as Health & Safety training courses which can help your organisation meet its legal obligations to keep its people safe.
Why is 1st Aid training important?
First Aid is “the immediate care & assistance given to a person who is injured or is suddenly taken ill” – the skills of a first aider really can save lives. All our first aid courses include being trained in the confident use of AED’s (Automated External Defibrillators).
Having trained first aiders in the workplace is a legal requirement for most employers and can also provide added piece of mind for those occasions when unwanted happens. For many professions such as HGV Drivers, attending a course in life saving first aid can also be counted towards CPD (Continued Professional Development) records.
Why choose Arley Medical Services?
Our founder Dave Johns, an experienced ambulance paramedic, recognises that sharing life saving first aid skills is essential in the modern world of stretched public ambulance resources. With a rural background, he also knows the huge potential value in making sure that people in rural areas have the vital skills and know what do in case the worst happens and an ambulance is far away.
Our approach is to hand pick our trainers carefully, choosing only those with a genuine talent for teaching and the extensive knowledge and experience to back it up. Most of our trainers are expert ambulance personnel with additional teaching qualifications and their role on the front line means they really understand the skills they are passing on to you. They always aim to create a relaxed learning environment and encourage candidates to ask questions and ‘have a go’ – meaning that you will leave the course, not only competent but confident to use your new skills.
Arley Medical Services is approved by Qualsafe Awards who are recognised by Ofqual to offer regulated qualifications. This means that your certificate is equally as valid as if you’d been trained by a larger organisation such as St John Ambulance or The Red Cross, but as a smaller company we can deliver a client focused approach to high quality training.
