About Us And Our Event Medical Services

First Aid, Private Ambulance & Event Medical Services

Established in 2010, Arley Medical Services has emerged as a trusted and reputable provider of first aid, private ambulance and event medical services not only in the West Midlands but across the United Kingdom.

Our journey began with a vision to fill a crucial gap in the provision of event medical services, spurred by the expertise and passion of our founder. With a background in event management and ambulance services, we recognised the need for a reliable and professional medical service for local student events and sporting fixtures. Thus, Arley Medical Services was born, founded on principles of excellence, dedication and compassion. Now, our services extend throughout the country and span a wide range of needs and demands.

Since our inception, Arley Medical Services has experienced rapid growth, firmly establishing ourselves as leaders in the field of first aid, private ambulance solutions and event medical services.

While our roots may lie in the West Midlands, our reach extends far beyond, catering to clients across the UK with the same unwavering commitment to quality and care.

Specialising in serving the rural sector, we take immense pride in our long-standing relationships with esteemed organisations such as the National Federation of Young Farmers Clubs, Three Counties Agricultural Society, and various country shows. These partnerships underscore our dedication to providing tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients, ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants and attendees.

Conveniently situated in rural Warwickshire, close to Birmingham and the M6, our strategically located base allows us to deliver prompt and reliable services throughout the country. Whether it's a local community event or a prestigious sporting fixture, private care or a large-scale operation, Arley Medical Services stands ready to provide the highest standard of care and support.

Meet The Team…

Paramedic Team leader

Greg

I have a passion for healthcare and being able to provide help to people in their time of need. We don’t spend a lot of time with people but it’s nice to feel like we have made a difference in that short space of time. I am a strong believer of team work and being a team player. I enjoy being a team leader and assisting others in the team in achieving goals, while ensuring our customers get the best service.

I like things being done in order and to a high standard. I enjoy walking and bike riding. I have two step children and enjoy spending family time with them and my partner Nat. I am also a keen guitar player.

Compliance Manager

Kirsty

Officially, I am the Compliance Manager here at AMS, unofficially, I am the voice behind many, many email addresses. I thrive on organization and efficiency, constantly monitoring processes and procedures to guarantee that everything is operating as it should.  I bring over 20 years experience to my role, with particular focus on operational, event and process management.

At home I have what feels like two toddlers, one being an actual toddler and the other being my other half who refuses to grow up. I also own two horses, one of which is a rare breed Suffolk Punch who is currently living her best life in Devon as part of a breeding plan.

Safeguarding, and First Aid Training Lead

Rebecca

Hello, my name is Becki and I have a few responsibilities at Arley Medical Services. My main role involves expanding and enhancing the training aspect of the business, along with conducting training sessions. I am enthusiastic about spreading essential life-saving skills across various sectors, especially in rural communities where I have a personal connection from growing up on a farm.

I also oversee any safeguarding issues that are reported to our office. At Arley Medical Services, we prioritise the safety and well-being of our patients, staff, and the general public, and we strive to uphold the highest standards of protection. Travelling the world is what gets me out of bed in the morning. I love working hard throughout the year so that I can explore new places around the globe during my time off. I'm currently at 45 countries and aim to get to 60 within the next 5 years. My key to moving forward is to keep learning; I like to surround myself with like-minded, highly motivated people who I can learn from and grow with, both in business and in my personal life.

Senior Clinician (Paramedic)

Jonathan

I’ve been in the profession for over 20 years, This ultimately led me to AMS full time (having been a contractor for many years) – the aim is to help to grow the company (and my friendships) before I ultimately retire (will never happen). I always strive to do the best I can for the people that work for AMS, their trust in us as a company is integral to our success, as well as ensuring that the public and our clients see the very best of AMS.

‘word of mouth and recommendation’ cannot be ignored as a valuable promotional tool for the company and first impressions are vitally important, our staff ARE the face of AMS. My work life and loyalty come second only to my loyalty to my family, having been married for 33 years. We spend a lot of time walking and exploring and have been very lucky to move to the countryside which allows us to do this, I also go Park Running when I can (look up Park Run and get involved).

Paramedic Team Leader

Ryan

Operations Director

Dave

I'm the Operations Director and founder of Arley Medical Services, which makes me the longest serving member of the team. My role is to ensure the company provides the highest level of service and care via our dedicated team. I have loved seeing the company develop and grow over the last 15 years and look forward to many more years of growth and doing what we as a team do best.

I live with my partner and 2 Labradors and when I'm not at work, I can currently be found doing some sort of DIY/renovations on our house, or buying new power tools to do the DIY with

Ambulance Support Assistant

Will

I'm Will, and I've recently joined the team at Arley. It's my job to ensure that the clinical teams have everything they need to do their job and provide great care to our patients

If I'm not at work and it's not raining I can be found on a golf course

Part Time Office Dog

Jake

I've been an integral part of Arley Medical Services for over 13 years. Some students were convinced I was the very first fully trained Paramedic Dog, but I'm really just around for attention and cuddles. I generally work from home now though because of my age so I keep the Operations Director in check

“I had experienced a slight pain above my nose and eye for about 10 days ,which had slowly moved to the side of my right eye.As I was working at the Three Counties Show I thought I would ask advice at the medical centre . I was seen by Mel ,Alison and Lorna who were absolutely excellent. They went through my symptoms, did various checks on my eyes ,took blood sample ,temperature, blood pressure etc and nothing was too much trouble .Asked me loads of questions and also answered any questions I raised with them . A first class service, could not praise their professionalism, attention and approach. Robert Lewis”
